Rehua Marae

A solar installation to service a series of social housing apartments at Rehua Marae. The complex is amongst two acres of native reserve, yet a short drive from central Ōtautahi. The housing crisis in Aotearoa is one that disproportionately affects Maori. These units provide economic relief to families facing hardship. Furthermore, the project allows tenants to reconnect with their Maori heritage and culture.
